PUPPET SHOW on “Water” -  Monday 29 March

I would like to thank the parents for being proactive in their child’s daily progress, learning and wellbeing.  It makes a child feel special and builds confidence when they share their news, show and tell and know that mom and dad show interest in their school.

To follow up with this we will have our end of 1st term parent feedback meetings. The parents who feel comfortable with their child’s progress need not attend.  However, the parents who feel the need to discuss their child’s progress may book a 15min time slot with your child’s teacher.

Only the Grade R children will get reports for the 1st term. They will be given out on the 28 March.

Teacher Mariska’s class feedback meeting will be held on the Monday 14 March from 1:00pm to 6:00pm

Teacher Leyha’s class feedback meeting will be on Tuesday 15 March from 1:00pm-6:00pm

Teacher Barbara’s class feedback meeting will be on Wednesday 16 March from 12:00 – 6:00pm

Teacher Lorna’s feedback meeting will be Thursday 31 March.

Teacher Carmen’s feedback meeting will be Monday 4 April from 1:00pm – 6:00pm

If you cannot make these times you may make a special arrangement with your child’s class teacher.

Collection Times

A friendly reminder that many children are not been collected on time specifically the 2:00pm slot.   Not all the teachers are in attendance during aftercare and it makes their job very difficult to look after all the extra children as well as to separate the 2:00pm children and 5:30pm children when it comes to snack time.   If you are going to collect your child late for whatever reason please inform the school otherwise you will be charged for the 5:30pm rate.

I would like to wish everyone a relaxing and enjoyable Easter and if your family is going on holiday over the long weekend please drive carefully and return our little ones safely to us.

Out the mouths of babes!!!!

Little Nkensani went to her teacher all distressed and announced “Teacher Carmen I cannot breath”, teacher asks why?  Nkensani  answered “I have a “block” in my nose” instead of “My nose is blocked”
