Meet the Teacher
Most of the children will be moving onto the next age group in 2017 so we have decided to have a meet the teacher day on Monday 21 November. This is to alleviate some of the anxiety the children experience when they return back to school in the New Year. The children will be visiting their new classroom and new teacher for 2017. They will spend some time getting to know their new teacher.
Christmas Party for the children Friday 2nd December
We will be having a Christmas Party for the Children on 2nd December and Father Christmas will be visiting the children to hand out gifts to each child.
We need a Father Christmas, any volunteers? Any Dad or Grandfather willing to be Father Christmas will be much appreciated.
The final school reports will be given out on Thursday 1 December 2016. We are not having an official parent/teacher meetings but any parent wishing to discuss their child’s progress with the class teacher is most welcome to do so. Please set up a time with your particular class teacher.
The school will be closing for its annual break on Thursday 15 December at 12:00, as we have organised a Christmas lunch for the staff. The school will re-open on Monday 9 January 2017 for holiday care. Formal teaching will begin on Monday 16 January 2017.
